I build software that runs businesses.
I'm a tech lead in a large enterprise environment, working on platform architecture, engineering standards and the teams that build on them. Next to that, I built my own software factory.
The software factory
What I mean by a software factory
The whole agentic software development lifecycle, set up and tuned as one system, from specification to production. Architecture decisions are recorded as ADRs and enforced by tests where possible, so every agent and every person builds on the same choices.
- 1 Specification What it should do, and what not.
- 2 Agents build Within the rules of the repository.
- 3 Tests and checks On every change, automatically.
- 4 Pull request with preview A live version to click through.
- 5 My review Nothing merges without it.
- 6 Live Releases and migrations run by themselves.
- ↺ Improve the factory Lessons go back into the rules and tests.

Background
Finance, consulting, then software
I studied finance and was a manager at Deloitte Consulting. Then I spent several years building custom software for companies, from websites with their own CMS to a real-time auction platform. So I usually start with the business question.
